Scottish Soil Not Snow!

Caroline is now back on Scottish soil after 3 weeks snowboarding in Japan. What a great experience with such hospitality - Scotland could learn a lot from their take on life & living.
Niseko Hirafu could be considered beautiful but the snow storms didn't allow much viewing of the scenery.
Holidays are great however this recent photo taken by Spean Bridge with a rare sighting of Ben Nevis in the background, highlights why there is nothing quite like home.

Burnt Out on Burns

The Lovat Burns Supper was held on Saturday, 24th January 2009. Not only was it monumental as our first ever celebration but of course, it was Burns' 250 years anniversary.

The music was carefully orchestrated by the TMC Group, who dutifully assisted those who were not as knowledgeable on their feet with the Ceilidh routines!

Andrew Ferguson did a great introduction to the Haggis - carefully enacting the Toast to the Chieftan o' the pudding race, David toasted the Lassies, Caroline replied & Willie Cameron showed his professionalism with the Immortal Memory. All speakers added that extra special touch to an already blooming event.

Geraldine did a fantastic job with the flags, room & table decorations - all that time & effort paid off as the room looked great!

Also, the kitchen did us proud with a lovely meal accompanied by beautifully flowing service.

Thanks to all the staff & those who attended for making it such a successful evening.

Roll on next year! Your comments are more than welcome
