Stop/Start

On Monday, 19th May 2008, David is going in for his 'electrocution'. Well, this is what I call it. You know, that 'stop/start' procedure? In all honesty I had never heard of it before now. The fancy name for it is in fact 'Synchronized Electrical Cardioversion'. This is the process by which an abnormally fast heart rate or cardiac arrhythmia is terminated by the delivery of a therapeutic dose of electrical current to the heart at a specific moment in the cardiac cycle.

Maybe there will be a miracle & after Monday, David will in fact 'STOP' working so hard & will 'START' taking it easy - I did say a miracle now!

All the staff at the Lovat pass on their thoughts for Monday. Although I am not there, I will be with you...so don't lose heart!
