We stayed at the Lovat for just one night and wished we could have stayed for longer.
Our room was newly refurbished-clean modern furniture,flat screen TV's,luxurious bathroom and a comfortable bed.
The restaurants were tastfully decorated,the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was outstanding.
This must be one of the best places to stay in the UK

By far the most pleasant surprise of our road trip around Britain. Driving through Port Augustus late in the afternoon on a cold March day, my new wife I were desperate to find somewhere to stay the night. The Lovat caught my eye, and I cannot begin to tell you how happy we are that we stopped. The Lovat was brilliant. Fantastic new room, a brilliant bar and great food. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had anywhere - smoked haddock in milk, with a poached egg. I nearly died from joy! Don't miss the Lovat Arms!
