Improvements in all departments

Back on 5th June 2009, we reported the progress of The Lovat, Loch Ness based on your feedback via our comment cards.

The hotel has gone from strength to strength with % improvements on all aspects that are reported on by you.

A huge thank you to all staff for their contribution, it is often hard to keep standards high in the busy spells because time is precious & limited but they have continued to improve & show dedication to the tasks at hand. Thank you to all our guests as well, who have given us the feedback we have needed to improve in areas that showed weakness. It is only through your support & consideration that we can make a difference.

Alex's last night

Little Alex came to The Lovat, Loch Ness on work placement before heading back to Nottingham for Hospitality College. Alex (front left hand side) spent 3 weeks at the hotel, learning the ropes as a introduction into the trade.

Despite having no knowledge of hospitality she went away with, more than, an idea on how to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Good luck for your future studies Alex!

Birthday Basting!

Never a dull day, working at The Lovat, Loch Ness!!!

Lesley, Head Housekeeper, celebrated her 40th Birthday on Friday, 21st August but rather than wait for the real day, her team decided to catch her by surprise & give her the true Lovat Birthday Basting - this concoction was flour, water, syrup & some glitter for added effect! Oh so sweet!

Have you ever tried getting dry flour & water out of your hair? Trust me - it takes a lot of attempts or even scissors...!

Basque Event

Despite the rain, wind & cloud - the Basque dancers kept their spirits high, dancing around Fort Augustus, the canal locks & The Lovat, Loch Ness.
